    This sweet is called Amanatto in Japanese. Although the name has the word natto, it doesn't use actual natto.

    What is Amanatto

    Amanatto(甘納豆) is a type of Japanese traditional sweet made with azuki or other beans that are boiled softly, dried, and simmered with sugar syrup.
    It was first cooked up during the 1860s.
